EYEBROW CREATION- The process can be used where people have gaps in their eyebrows (perhaps due to scarring), have only an eyebrow, would like darker or more defined eyebrows or brows that appear thicker. INK- Imported from USA, best quality ink. The treatments are performed under sterile conditions, with every precaution taken for the client and myself. IS THE TREATMENT SAFE? Yes. There may be some slight tightness as healing occurs. ARE THERE ANY AFTER EFFECTS? Swelling is mild and usually lasts 2-3 days. DOES THE TREATMENT HURT? Using a cotton bud dipped in local anesthetic and applied to the skin makes the treatment virtually painless. A short follow up appointment is generally made for 3-4 weeks time, and to make any adjustments, to check colour and shape, if necessary (e.g. sometimes a small area will require a little more colour). An appointment time of 2 hours is generally allowed. HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT TAKE? Treatment times varies depending on the extent and nature of the treatment. Some clients choose to have a retouch after 18 months to retain a darker colour and more defined line. Lighter brow colours, which clients sometimes choose for first treatments, may be a little less definite and will start to fade out before 3 years. The average length of time an implant lasts is 3 years. HOW LONG DOES IT LAST? The pigment in the skin can last 3-5 years, depending on the colour used and individual variations in the skin replacement rates. Tattooing goes into the deepest layers of skin, and uses a permanent ink, which is the reason tattoos last forever. IS IT A TATTOO? It is basically the same process, except that the needle is not inserted as deeply. There are good ranges of colours to enable colour selections that best enhance your appearance. The pigments used are of vegetable origin. As you replace your skin over the years, the changes gradually fade away. Needle penetration is quite shallow, which is the reason for the changes being only semi-permanent. The needle is dipped into the pigment, and the tip of the needle inserted into the skin, allowing the skin to absorb the colour. HOW IS PIGMENT IMPLANTATION PERFORMED? Using the finest quality needles, the pigment is introduced INTO the skin. You can shower, swim and perspire without a problem- there is no risk of these changes smearing or running or of lip colour "bleeding".
