With your assistance and feedback, we seek to continuously improve our service to the Southern piece of the Gold Coast community by responding to the temporary needs of our users. Service Standards You can expect a quick, effective and gracious response whenever you approach us. To be involve in deciding, and choosing, the type of services most appropriate to face their needs. To be given ample information to make an informed choice about services offered. To access services that takes into consideration their lifestyle, cultural linguistic and religious. To take portion in any social activities offered by the organization. To be capable to lodge a complaint about the service they are receiving without fear of retribution. To expect any complaints to be dealt with fairly and promptly, without fear of losing the service they currently take or being disadvantaged in any other way. To abide by any legal requirements and other obligations that clients are to face in order to be eligible for services sought. It is understood that in the course of your assessment and the referral process you will share information with your treating counselor. This will be discussed at the time with you. If you are quiet not satisfied, you can make a formal complaint. As our client we will listen to you, involve you in our decision making and simplify our reasons for our decisions. Families and Individuals have the correct to determine and have input into the services they require. Families and Individuals often need assistance from the community to thrive and strengthen their own promote networks. Families and Individuals have the correct to access knowledge, information and services which enable them to prosper and strengthen existing networks. All Families and Individuals have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. In July in 1992 funding was also received from the Department of Employment, Education and Training for the setting up of Palm Beach Job Club that provided fulltime training in job search, communication skills and confidence building. In 2015, we are tranquil here, endeavoring to give a local personalized service to vulnerable members of the southern Gold Coast community, stretching our resources as far as we can. The history of the PBNC is complex, but the service is what it is today, largely due to the years of effort and contributions of staff and volunteers alike. Palm Beach neighborhood center (PBNC) is multipurpose, community based facility which provides services in response to the social, cultural and educational and welfare needs of the Southern Gold Coast in order to improve the quality of life of the community as a total and in particular, it’s more vulnerable members.
