The 665 million expansions of East land Shopping center and development of Ringwood Town center has transformed East land into one of Melbourne’s maximum progressive and exciting urban shopping, entertainment and leisure destinations. A media screen, or billboard piece, and the highly glazed northeast corner make a strong contemporary expression, and this and further extensive glazing on the Lonsdale Street facade creates a potent connection between interior and exterior at all levels. Two fresh malls yield a quality retail precinct characterized by natural light, space and elegance, with simple, tall shopfronts. The large, airy space has unfold tenancies extending out into the mall. The Buchan Group has developed a master plan and design concept to exaggerate and upgrade the center in a development that will quadruple its area. Additional tall quality parking areas and good public transport links bear excellent accessibility.
