Environmental graphics, also designed by The Buchan Group, were included in the project. Chad stone Place is a mixed use development with new, external Main Street precincts, a combine of retail formats, a restaurant and cafe piazza and a refurbished enclosed mall. The Buchan Group's design has created a dynamic retail environment enhanced by quality interior design elements and energetic graphics that deliver a memorable shopping experience. The 665 million expansions of East land Shopping center and development of Ringwood Town center has transformed East land into one of Melbourne’s maximum progressive and exciting urban shopping, entertainment and leisure destinations. A media screen, or billboard piece, and the highly glazed northeast corner make a strong contemporary expression, and this and further extensive glazing on the Lonsdale Street facade creates a potent connection between interior and exterior at all levels. Two fresh malls yield a quality retail precinct characterized by natural light, space and elegance, with simple, tall shopfronts. The large, airy space has unfold tenancies extending out into the mall. The Buchan Group has developed a master plan and design concept to exaggerate and upgrade the center in a development that will quadruple its area. Additional tall quality parking areas and good public transport links bear excellent accessibility. Good access from major southern arterial roads is an imperative feature of the plan and there is parking for 265 cars. The refurbishment project will coincide with the relaunch of the building as an office, retail and public precinct known as William Square’. The Buchan Group has been occupied with Mancini Property Development since 2005 to entire the architecture, master planning, interior and graphics works for stages one and two of the refurbishment. Stage 1 of the retail master plan was completed in 2008 and included a major supermarket and supporting specialty stores within a generous covered mall. We’re arrogant of the end result and how it has been embraced by the locals. The precinct also hosts two new restaurants on the building’s ground floor. It also delivered the interior and graphic design components, creating a fully integrated design solution that maximizes the Deluxe Precinct’s entertainment offer. The design incorporates the existing site conditions, constraints, and opportunities to provide a fully integrated retail, dining, and leisure facility which will service both the local community and surrounding area, consistent with the District Plan’s intention that Johnsonville be a center of regional significance. The Buchan Group was appointed by The RR Morris Group in 2014 to provide architectural, interior, graphics branding and signage design services to the project.
