In 199 Leigh completed a years study to profit her Graduate Certificate in orthopedic Manipulative Therapy and then went onto total studies at ACT to graduate as a manipulative therapist receiving first class honors in the Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy program. Leigh has worked closely with other committee members in the AA to create the national AA Acupuncture and Arid Needling group (ang) and is presently the ang impaired representative. In 2010 Leigh secured a two year Research Fellowship with the Griffith University Medical School to research the effect of acupuncture and dry needling on whiplash Associative Disorder and has presented the research at considerable medical conferences. She also holds an office bearer position for the Gold Coast Regional Group of the AA and assists in organizing their comprehensive PD program. Clinically her areas of interests include Pilates, shoulder rehabilitation, lower limb bio mechanics and sports spinal rehabilitation. Trevor clowned a large physiotherapy practice for 8 years earlier establishing Golf Works Ltd a specialized physiotherapy practice for golfers. With a postgraduate certificate in Western Acupuncture, Trevor has been utilizing parched needling and western acupuncture in practice for over a decade. Trevor lectures to physiotherapists on acupuncture and arid needling of the musculoskeletal system with Leigh McCutcheon at various venues around Australia. Trevor lectures on Acupuncture and Dry Needling for the postgraduate program at ACT. Over the past eight years Trevor has also held various office bearer positions for the Auckland branch of Sports Medicine NZ.
