The Boomerang Farm is a golf course, a wedding and events venue and a mountain biking destination located in Mudgeeraba, the heart of the Gold Coast Hinterland. The property started life as a dairy farm prior becoming a tourist attraction where people could throw boomerangs and experience other rural activities. In 1994 it was developed into a golf course and events venue and rapidly gained a reputation as a unique and hard course that was also affordable and welcoming. Weddings soon followed and flourished and remain to do so as does the latest addition to the farm, mountain biking. Our rustic barn clubhouse, built in 1902, is fully licensed and serves a large variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholilic beverages as healthy as snacks. We have various competitions throughout the year, ranging from beginners to expert golfers, for both female and male competitors these events are listed on the Events page. Spread over almost 20 hectares of lush vegetation, dams and historic farm buildings the course is as difficult as it is beautiful. You can either walk the course and appreciate the superb scenery or take a load off and hire one of our motorized buggies to receive you around. Our goal is to ensure your wedding day is everything you have imagined, our aim is to deliver this in a fun, inclusive and stress free way. Because the Boomerang Farm is a privately owned wedding venue we have the freedom and flexibility to deliver a unique experience, almost no idea or theme is unachievable.
