Encouraged by the boom in the property industry in Western Australia, they set up a property business, and together with his son, building and selling over 20 properties in their first two years. Running his own successful mobile phone business for 14 years, he decided to pursue his interest in property development. His years spent running his own business and dealing with other business owners showed him that it was not about working harder, but about taking time out to work 'ON' your business and finding and implementing new and innovative marketing strategies that get results. Alan was one of the very first commission agents for Telstra to ever sell pagers and mobile phones in Australia.
